If you are really concern then maybe you should go with your gut. I bet having a generator would be a good tool to have for all types of situations in California. The overall consensus is that this winter will feature an El Nino but should be in the weak to moderate category. The best advice would be to contact one of your local meteorologist and see what they think and also look at past years where the El Nino's were in the same category. I am just sharing what I find. I do not have my own long range seasonal forecast. Long range forecast is not one of my strengths but I think it is important for people to see all the info out there. Also It may be a good idea to contact one of your local meteorologist and see what they think.
