I am going to take the mention of showers out of the forecast for Sunday. The next system will be close, causing strong showers and storms in western and central Kansas over the weekend. A large area of high pressure located in the eastern United States will keep those showers and storms from moving into Kansas City until Sunday night. It will be warm with temperatures in the low to mid 80s and also very windy on Saturday as gust could reach 30 mph
